SmartBear Admin Release - June 2025
This release includes new features and improvements to enhance your SmartBear ID, Admin, License Management, Organization, and Subscription experience.
New Enhancements and Features
The following are the new enhancements and features for the current release:
Insight Hub Authentication with SmartBear ID
Insight Hub is now authenticated with SmartBear ID.
SmartBear License Management (SLM) support for TestHub (on-prem)
TestHub users can now generate and manage licenses using the new licensing template. The system ensures secure issuance and verification of JWT tokens through the JWKS service, providing efficient license management tools to support rapid deployment.
Bug Fixes
Here is a summary of the key bug fixes implemented in the current release:
Fixed the issue where trials failed using Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) access tokens. Now, when a trial license is created for a user, if the user exceeds trial limits, a message explaining the situation appears.
Resolved the error where emails were not sent to users with capital letters in their email addresses. Users are now able to receive emails.
Resolved the issue that prevented users from activating TestComplete trial versions.
Resolved the error where users encountered a 404 error and a non-functional login button when SmartBear Admin session expired. Users no longer need to clear the cache.
Fixed the error where a 404 error appeared after creating a trial as a logged-in user. Users are now navigated to the newly created organizations' API Hub landing pages.
