Migrate Multiple Projects in Parallel

You can migrate several projects in parallel if, for example, you have large projects with a lot of test cases and you want to speed up the migration process. In this mode, the migration procedure consists of two steps:

  1. Migrate all ALM users and execution statuses that test cases and steps can have (no data on each test case or step is migrated).

  2. Migrate projects by running multiple instances of the Migration Wizard in the browser. Each instance should be started in a separate browser tab. Before starting another migration, you need to create a new folder on your hard drive, place the downloaded .jar file (hpqc-zee-x.x.x.jar) in it and run the file from that folder. The number of projects you can migrate simultaneously depends on the capacity of your system. We recommend that you do not run too many instances to avoid performance issues.

  3. After migrating all of your projects, you need to perform post-migration steps.
