SmartBear ID SAML Signing Certificate
Notice
SmartBear is migrating SmartBear ID to a new environment on July 25, 2026.
This guide describes the SmartBear ID SAML signing certificate update required for the migration to the new SmartBear ID environment. As part of this migration, the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) signing certificate used to authenticate with your identity provider (IdP) is updated. You must add the new certificate before the cutover date to avoid disruptions to single sign-on (SSO) logins.
Note
This update only affects you if your IdP is configured to validate the signature on incoming SAML authentication requests from SmartBear. If your IdP is not configured to perform this validation, no action is needed.
Prerequisites
Contact the IdP administrator to add the new SmartBear signing certificate as a second trusted service provider (SP) signing certificate. Trust both the existing and new certificates during the transition period.
