May 15, 2025

  • Portal now has a new HTML-based editor. New portals created after today will only have access to the new editor. Existing portals can choose between the type of page they want to create. We highly recommend using the new editor for all new documentation.

  • SwaggerHub Portal On-Premise is now available as part of SwaggerHub On-Premise. For more information, go to the On-Premise Administrator Guide.

    Note

    Current users must upgrade SwaggerHub On-Premise to version 2.9 and will need a new license to enable Portal. Contact your sales representative to receive a new license.

  • The publish confirmation modal will detail what changes have occurred in the product since the last publication.

  • Broken link indicator to inform users there is an issue with the already linked API. Potential reasons include:

    • Provider no longer has permissions to the API,

    • The API has changed ownership,

    • The API has been deleted,

    • The API has been renamed in SwaggerHub affecting the URL structure.

  • You can now navigate to SwaggerHub to manage users if you are the organization owner in your portal. Visit User Management to learn more about roles.

  • When you add new content or edit it in the provider view, a blue icon prompts that API or page contains unpublished changes.

  • Consumers can generate code for OpenAPI definitions. Also, they can download both OpenAPI and AsyncAPI in YAML or JSON format.

  • Now you can switch back from the consumer view to the provider view when you click the Go to Provider View button available in your profile.
