Managing Projects, Project Suites and Project Items - Messages

This section describes the messages that may be displayed when working with projects, project suites and project items.

In This Section

A name cannot be an empty string.

A name must begin with a letter and cannot contain spaces. Letters, digits, and underscores are allowed after the first character.

A new test item has been created, but no test to be run has been specified.

An earlier version of a project item detected...

An element with the name Element_name already exists.

An error occurred while creating the backup file file_name.

At least one modal dialog is open

Cannot load data for Project_Item...

Cannot open the file_name file, because it is not a valid project_node_type file.

Cannot save the project or project suite to a subfolder of its current location.

Cannot write to the file_name file.

Could not add a child element from the file_name file.

Invalid Jira credentials.

Item_name cannot be created, since the specified drive or network path is invalid, read-only or contains a name reserved for the system.

Node_name is not a valid name of a node_type.

Remove or Delete Confirmation

TestComplete found unsaved content in the file...

The ... name is invalid for the element_name element. The name ... should be used.

The cloning process failed.

The cloning process failed. Do you want to remove the folder_name folder?

The element name is too long.

The file_name file already exists and it is used by the item_name item in the project suite.

The file_name file does not exist.

The folder where a new project is going to be created contains at least one TestComplete project.

The folder where the new project is going to be created already exists and is not empty.

The folder_name folder already exists. Please specify a new folder.

The following files are located outside of the project folder. Do you want to delete them?

The following project elements have the same keys: ... The project suite (or project) cannot be opened.

The functioning mode you activate by switching off this option is deprecated. We recommend keeping the option on.

The item_name cannot be created because the file file_name already exists. Do you want to overwrite it?

The location must be a fully qualified folder name.

The name of the node_name cannot contain only . or have any of the following characters:

The name of the node_name node cannot be changed.

The node_name node has been restored.

The node_name node will be replaced with the Unavailable node.

The project (project suite) contains old-format log files. Do you want to convert these files to the new format?

The project_name project contains invalid test item data...

The selected project item(s) will be deleted from the disk...

The selected testing type requires the PLUGIN_NAME plug-in which is currently disabled.

The type of the element you are trying to add is element_type. An element of this type already exists. There can be only one element of this type in the parent node.

The value cannot be changed for an item with this value

There are unsaved changes in the project suite...

There is no appropriate test to choose.

This option cannot be changed...

Two or more child elements of the node_name node have the same identifier...

Unable to add an element from the file_name file, because this element or its child element already exists in the project suite, or it is a copy of an existing element.

Unable to add the item...

Unable to append the cloned element_name to the element_name. Do you want to remove the folder_name folder?

Unable to copy the item_name item. Do you want to continue?

Unable to copy the test item from another project.

Unable to create the directory directory_name.

Unable to create the node_name element, because information required for creation is invalid.

Unable to enable the PLUGIN_NAME plug-in automatically.

Unable to open the node_name. Do you want to remove the folder_name folder?
