Description
TestComplete includes plugins that add support for various testing types and application types.
For example, testing web applications requires the Web Testing plugin and testing Android applications requires the Android Support plugin .
These plugins are installed and enabled automatically during TestComplete installation.
When you create a new test project using the Create New Project wizard and select the type of the application you want to test, TestComplete checks if the required plugin is enabled. If the plugin is currently disabled, TestComplete displays a message informing you about the problem and offering you to enable the plugin and load it.
Cause
A plugin can be disabled for one of the following reasons:
-
You are using a TestComplete license which does not include the module providing this plugin.
-
The plugin is disabled in the Install Extensions dialog. For example, you disabled the plugin earlier because you did not need it at that time.
Solution
To enable the specified plugin and load it in TestComplete (provided that you have an appropriate license), click Yes. If the plugin has been successfully loaded, you will advance to the next page of the wizard where you can specify additional test settings.
