Why Do You See This Message?
This message is displayed if you have not specified a keyword test, script routine or any other test to be executed by the test item that you have created.
Why It Is Needed to Specify a Test
Typically, a test item has a keyword test, script routine or any other test associated with it. The test engine runs this test when it is executing test items.
The test name is displayed in the Execution Entity column of the project’s Execution Plan editor:
If your project does not contain test items with associated tests, you cannot run the test project.
What Can You Do?
To specify a test for your test item:
-
Switch to the Execution Plan editor of the project.
-
Select the needed test item in the editor.
-
Click the ellipsis button within the Execution Entity column. This will invoke the Select Test dialog.
-
Choose the needed test in the dialog and click OK to confirm your choice.
