Information in this topic applies to web applications.

The Default Project Properties | Project | Open Applications | Web Testing settings specify default values of web testing settings.

To view or change these default options, select Tools | Default Project Properties from the main menu of TestComplete and choose Project | Open Applications | Web Testing from the tree displayed on the left side of the ensuing Default Project Properties dialog.

Currently, the following properties are available:

General

Custom Attributes

Object Identification

URL Processing

Virtual Browsers

To save changes you made to the options, press OK. Cancel will close the dialog without saving any changes.

Default project properties can be saved to a file and loaded from a file via the Export Settings and Import Settings dialogs. This can be useful during reinstallation of TestComplete. For more information, see Exporting and Importing Custom User Settings.
