Project Properties

The project properties let you control the settings that affect the test project creation and running. For instance, they let you specify the object tree model used by project scripts, the delay between simulated user actions, TestComplete behavior when a script encounters unexpected or overlapping windows, etc.

You can modify project properties using either the Properties page of the project editor.

Some of the above-mentioned categories customize the functionality provided by TestComplete plugins. If a plugin is disabled, the corresponding group is not available.

To save the changes you have made to the project properties, select File > Save from the main menu of TestComplete or press the Save shortcut (Ctrl+S by default).

The values of project properties that will be used for new projects can be set in the Default Project Properties dialog. During project creation TestComplete assigns values of default properties.
