Here you can find the most frequent questions and doubts related to the migration from standalone PactFlow to Swagger Contract Testing.

Authentication

I was using a username and a password.

If you haven’t already created a SmartBear ID:

  1. Select Continue with SmartBear ID and register a new account.

  2. Use the same email as your previous login.

You’ll retain all existing permissions after logging in.

I was logging in using my company’s SSO (for example, Azure AD or Okta).

After migration:

  1. Select Continue with SmartBear ID.

  2. You’ll be automatically redirected to your SSO provider.

I was using GitHub or Google login.

GitHub and Google logins are still supported, but their behavior has changed.

New behavior

Available only to paid customers (Team and Enterprise).

Available to all plans.

Domain (Google) and organization (GitHub) restrictions were supported.

A new provider, Microsoft, is supported.

Domain and organization restrictions are no longer supported.

Users were auto-provisioned without explicit invites.

Users must be manually invited. Their email addresses must match exactly.

Note

Existing users do not require re-inviting.
