Add and Edit Agile Tasks

To begin working with agile tasks, go to Agile Tasks > Show Agile Tasks. From here, you can access various types of operations which you can perform with an agile task of your choice.

Create an agile task

To create an agile task, click Add New on the Agile Tasks screen.

On the following Add Agile Task form, provide necessary information about the new agile task on the Edit tab. You can use auto-fill to quickly describe the task – to do that, just select a recent entry from the Auto-fill from Recent Entry drop-down list.

Tip: The required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Once your agile task is ready, click Save or Save and Close to apply the changes you have made.

If you click Save, you will stay on the form page. If you click Save and Close, you will get to the Agile Tasks screen where you will find the new agile task.

Edit an agile task

To edit an agile task, click the Edit button in the Actions column on the row of the task.

On the Edit Agile Task form, make the needed changes: for example, you can edit the fields describing the agile task, attach new mockups, make some comments, and so on. See below.

To apply the changes you have made, click Save or Save and Close. To discard the changes and return back to the Agile Tasks screen, click Cancel.

What else you can do

Link items to agile tasks

If you need to link some other items to an agile task (for example, requirements or releases), use the Linked Items panel of the Create or Edit form. See Linked Items for more information.

Add and edit comments

If you need to add some comments on an agile task, switch to the Notes tab and click Add Note. You can also edit or delete the existing comments by using the buttons in the Actions column.

Work with attachments

To attach files to an agile task, switch to the Files tab and do any of the following:

  • Drag and drop the needed file to the panel.
  • Click Choose File and upload a file from your device.
  • Click Add / Link Files and upload a file using the subsequent dialog.
Tip: Use the commands in the Actions column to download, open, or delete attachments.

View the history of changes

To view the history of changes of an existing agile task, switch to the History tab on the Edit form.

You can also switch to the Fast Edit History tab to see the changes made to the agile task as part of a bulk.

Review and print an agile task

To view full information about an agile task in an easy-to-read printable form, do any of the following:

  • On the Agile Tasks screen, click the Print Page button on the row of the needed task.

  • Click Print Page at the top of the Edit form.

Email an agile task

To email an agile task, do one of the following:

  • Click Email on the row of the needed agile task.
