The Add Dynamic Identifier Pattern wizard helps you create patterns for handling dynamic object identifiers in web and hybrid mobile applications.
On this page, you can manually enter the web object identifier for which you want to create a match pattern. You can also paste this identifier from the clipboard. The identifier used by TestComplete is either the id
or name
attribute of web objects, according to the Identification attribute project setting for web or hybrid mobile applications.
You can learn this identifier by examining the web page object in the Object Spy, Object Browser or browser developer tools (for example, Firefox Firebug add-on).
After you have entered the identifier, click Next to proceed.
