This topic describes what tasks you can accomplish in the Explorer panel.
Viewing Profiling Results
To view the content of the desired result set in the Report panel, do any of the following:

In the Explorer panel, double-click the desired result set, category or thread node.

Right-click the desired result set, category or thread node and select Activate from the context menu.
Saving Profiling Results
To save profiling results for future use, do any of the following:

Right-click the desired result set under the Last Results or Merged Results node and choose Move to Saved Results from the context menu.

Drag the desired result set to the Saved Results folder.
Deleting Profiling Results
To remove an unnecessary result set, right-click the result set and choose Delete from the context menu.
To remove all the results, right-click somewhere within the panel and choose Clear All from the context menu.
Comparing Profiling Results
To compare two or more results, do the following:

In the Explorer panel, select the results you want to compare.
Note: You can compare results from the same category only. If you compare results of the Performance or Function Trace profiler, make sure they were generated by the same counter. -
Right-click the nodes and choose Compare from the context menu or click Compare on the Explorer panel’s toolbar.

Merging Profiling Results
To merge several results, do the following:

In the Explorer panel, select the result sets you want to merge.

Right-click the sets and choose Merge from the context menu.
You can configure AQTime to automatically merge all new results into a combined result set by using the options of the Auto-merge option group.

Exporting Profiling Results
To export results to a database, right-click the desired result set and choose Export to Database from the context menu.
To export results to a binary file, right-click the desired result set and choose Save to File from the context menu.
Importing Profiling Results
To import an existing result set from an .aqr file:

Right-click somewhere within the Explorer panel and choose Load From File from the context menu.

In the consequent Open File dialog, choose the file that stores the desired result set (.aqr).
Organizing Profiling Results Into Folders
To organize result sets into folders, do the following:

Right-click somewhere within the Explorer panel and choose New Folder from the context menu to create a new custom folder.

Drag the desired result sets to the created folder.
