Atlassian’s shift in strategy to become the cloud-first company accelerated the journey to cloud with next-level offerings. On this journey, customers start to migrate their Jira instances and apps from Server or DC to Cloud.
Use the Atlassian’s Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA), to migrate Zephyr data from Jira Server/DC to Jira Cloud: Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
At SmartBear, we are committed to ensure a smooth transition for all our customers. This guide is designed to help you migrate your Zephyr instances and Zephyr app data. Follow the links below for detailed information:
Use only the JCMA to migrate the Zephyr Server data to Zephyr Cloud.
We offer automated tools only for Server to Cloud migrations. The following migrations are not supported:
Merge of multiple Zephyr Server/Data Center instances into a single Zephyr Cloud instance. This is possible with the JCMA if project keys do not match. There may be other conflicts with duplicate data.
Cloud-to-Cloud migration. Atlassian has not yet made it possible to migrate application data from Cloud to Cloud. The only option is to manually export and import the test cases via Excel. You can explore our API to migrate other Zephyr objects, such as Cycles, attachments, and execution details.
