MCP Server
Swagger Functional Testing supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which lets AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot interact with your tests directly. You can use natural language prompts in your AI assistant to create tests and suites without leaving your development environment.
Authentication
The MCP server authenticates using Swagger Functional Testing API key scoped to your workspace. OAuth and SmartBear ID authentication are not supported at this time.
Note
Swagger Functional Testing MCP tools are currently available only through the local SmartBear MCP server, distributed as the @smartbear/mcp npm package. They are not currently available through the remote Swagger MCP server.
