Legacy Test Management Features

This section contains information about legacy features available to you in Test Management.

Test Cases

Prior to release 9.6.0, the Test Cases screen provided basic test management features.

If you are still using test cases, please see Test Cases for more information.

Automation Bridge

Prior to release 9.9.0, the test automation integration featured an automation bridge for posting automated results to a separate area in Test Management.

If you were using the automation bridge, your legacy data remains available in projects where such data exists. You can continue using the bridge in these projects, but we strongly recommend switching to the new integration mechanism available in release 9.9.0.

To switch to the updated version, do the following:

  1. Install the Test Agent on your test computers.

  2. Create tests in the test library and associate your TestComplete projects with these tests.

  3. (Optional) Add your new tests to test sets.

  4. Run your test on demand or create a schedule in order for them to run at a specific time.
