The Project Explorer panel’s context menu provides commands to manage projects and their logs displayed as tree structures in the panel. To open the context menu, right-click within the panel or select an item in the panel and right-click the item. The set of commands available to you in the menu depends on the item currently selected in the panel.
The available commands are:
Add AmazonImage Item |
Adds a new item that you can use to set up cloud testing. Only available for the Cloud item. |
Record User Scenario |
Opens the Record User Scenario dialog that you use to record a new scenario. Only available for the Scenarios item. |
Create New Scenario |
Creates a new empty scenario. Only available for the Scenarios item. |
Add Existing Scenario |
Adds an existing scenario to the Scenarios project item. Only available for the Scenarios item. |
Create New Test |
Creates a new load test. Only available for the Tests item. |
Add Existing Test |
Adds an existing test to the Tests project item. Only available for the Tests item. |
Add New Item | Adds a new child item to the selected item. |
Add Existing Item | Adds an existing item stored in an external file. |
Create Folder | Creates a new folder to the current item. Custom folders can be used to organize items displayed in the Project Explorer panel. For more information on this, see Organizing Items Into Folders. |
Add Existing Log File | Adds an existing log file to the selected log folder. This command is available only if the selected item is a log folder. For more information on importing logs, see details. |
Verify Scenario | Runs the selected scenario on Master to make sure it works. Only available for the Scenarios item. |
Run Test | Runs the selected test. |
Clear Log Files |
Deletes all the project logs from the current project folder. For detailed instructions, see more. |
New Project |
Creates a new project. This command is available only if no project is open. |
Open |
If the selected item is a log, this command opens it for viewing. If the context menu is invoked with no project opened yet, this command allows opening an existing project. |
Run Test_Name |
Runs the selected load test. |
Save |
Saves changes made to the selected project. |
Save Current As |
Saves the selected item to a new location on the disk. |
Rename |
Renames the selected item. For more information on renaming items, see details. |
Remove |
Allows you to remove the selected item from the project or to delete it permanently by deleting the corresponding storage file. For more information on deleting items, see details. |
Clear Log Files |
Deletes all project logs. Only available for the Scenarios item. |
Edit |
Opens the current item in the appropriate editor in the Workspace panel. |
Collapse All |
Collapses all the tree structures displayed in the Project Explorer panel. |
Expand All |
Expands all the nodes of all the tree structures displayed in the Project Explorer panel. |
Launch Instance(s) | Launches the specified number of instances from the selected Amazon Image item. |
