This topic describes what tasks you can accomplish in the Monitor panel.
Adding data pages
To add a new data page to the Monitor panel, follow the steps below:

Right-click within the panel.

Select New Data Page from the context menu. The Data Page dialog will appear.

In the dialog:

Specify the page’s caption.
-
Specify the page’s view style.
-
Select the counter to be monitored.
-
Click OK.

Editing data pages
To edit a certain data page, follow the steps below:

Right-click within the desired page.
-
Select Edit Data Page from the context menu. The Data Page dialog will appear.

In the dialog, you can --
-
Modify the page’s caption.
-
Modify the page’s view style.
-
Customize a set of counters to be monitored.

Deleting data pages
To delete a certain data page:

Right-click within this page and select Delete Data Page from the context menu.

To delete the page, select Yes. No will close the dialog without deleting the page.
Adding/deleting counters to be monitored
To customize a set of counters on the data page, follow the steps below:

Right-click within the desired page.
-
Select Edit Data Page from the context menu. This invokes the Data Page dialog where you can add and delete the counters.
Changing the view style
Each Monitor pane can display counter values in one of the two ways:

Grid - a table containing counter names and their values (at the given moment of time or at the end of the profiling session).

Graph - A real-time line chart showing changes in counter values over time.
Displaying/hiding data pages
You can hide pages that you do not need at the moment and display them again using the Show Panes submenu of the context menu.
Docking data pages
You can dock and undock the pages within the Monitor panel in the same manner as you dock and undock other AQTime panels (see Docking). To enable or disable docking, use the Allow Docking option.
Zoom in/out a view
To zoom in the contents of the page that represents data in the graphical form, drag the mouse cursor from the upper left corner of an imaginary rectangle to its lower right corner.
To zoom out the view, drag the cursor in any other diagonal direction of that rectangle.
To cancel zooming and display the selected chart in its normal size, select Zoom to 100% from the context menu.
Changing the graph style
If a page displays data as a graph, you can use the following items of the graph’s context menu to adjust the view:

3D View - Switches between the 3D and flat views of the graph.

Show Marks - Shows values on or hides them from the graph.

Show Legend - Shows or hides the graph’s legend.
