The Sequence Diagram Link profiler includes a number of options that work at runtime and define the specifics of profiler functioning.

You can view and modify these options in the following dialogs –

  • In the Profiler Options dialog that is displayed when you run the profiler (see Setting Profiler Options Before the Run).

  • In the Options dialog. To invoke it, select Options > Options from AQTime’s main menu. Then choose Profilers > Static Analysis > Sequence Diagram Link from the tree on the left.In the Options dialog. To invoke it, select Tools > Options from Visual Studio’s main menu. Then choose AQTime > Profilers > Static Analysis > Sequence Diagram Link from the tree on the left.In the Options dialog. To invoke it, select AQTime > Options from Embarcadero RAD Studio’s main menu. Then choose Profilers > Static Analysis > Sequence Diagram Link from the tree on the left.

You can also invoke this dialog by pressing Configure Current Profiler on the Standard toolbar when the profiler is selected.

The options are –

  • Target application - The application, used to create the diagram of function calls (Microsoft Word or Microsoft Visio).

  • Warning level - The number of analyzed methods, after which AQTime displays a dialog box asking if you want to continue profiling. This option helps to avoid the creation of overly complex diagrams and saves its results. Possible values are between 0 and 1,000,000. Default: 50. 0 = never ask.

  • Output diagram options

    • Draw message numbers - If this option is enabled, the profiler will draw numbers next to function names in the output diagram. Otherwise, numbers are not drawn.
