Extending Visual Studio Test Projects With AQTime Projects

Applies to AQTime 8.81, last modified on January 18, 2022

AQTime includes a special package that integrates with Microsoft Visual Studio. After the package is installed, it creates a new test type named AQTime Test. You add test items of this type to your test project created in Visual Studio and include your AQTime projects into your application lifecycle you manage with the Visual Studio build and testing tools.

Requirements

You enable the Visual Studio integration during the AQTime installation. Make sure that one of the following Visual Studio versions is installed on your computer:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 (Professional or Enterprise).

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 - 2013 (Professional, Premium or Ultimate).

  • Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 (Team Suite or Test Edition).

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (Team Suite or Team Edition for Testers).

Note: Integration with test projects created in Visual Studio 2017 is not supported.
