AlertSite helps you monitor the availability and response time of your SOAP and REST APIs (web services).

There are two types of API monitors:

API Endpoint monitor – sends one or more HTTP requests to check the API availability, response time, and response contents. Request URL and parameters can be filled in manually, or loaded from OpenAPI (Swagger) definitions.
SoapUI monitor – runs a test case created in ReadyAPI or SoapUI. The test case can include multiple API calls.

API monitors are powered by SmartBear ReadyAPI, a testing tool for REST and SOAP APIs. See ReadyAPI Versions for information about specific versions used.
