About

TestLeft shows this message when you closed the “Log in to TestLeft” dialog box.

Ways to continue

The message window offers the following:

Command Description
Enter my key-based license key Select this command if you have a key-based license and want to activate it.

See Activating Licenses for complete information.

Use an offline Fixed User license Select this command if you are working in a private network and want to activate an offline Fixed User license to run your TestLeft instance. See Activate Fixed User License in Private Network for complete information.

If your computer has access to the SmartBear license servers available on the Web, close this message box and start TestLeft again.

Get a license from an On-Premise License Server Select this command if you are working in a private network and want to consume a license seat from an On-Premise License Server running in your network. (This License Server helps you manage Floating licenses in local networks).

Selecting this command implies that you have the On-Premise License Server installed and configured in your network, and that your license administrator activated an offline Floating license on it. See Get a Floating License Seat in Private Network for complete information.

If your computer has access to the SmartBear license servers available on the Web, close this message box and start TestLeft again.

Close TestLeft Closes the dialog without performing any actions. TestLeft will not start.

Select this option to fix the problem and launch TestLeft later.

It’s quite possible that some users are not actually working with the product. For instance, they went home and kept TestLeft running on their computer. Please contact your teammates and license administrators to see if you can get a license seat. License administrators can free a license seat for you on the SmartBear Licensing Portal.
