ObjectIdentifier Property (Flash and Flex Objects)

This property is not supported in web tests (including cross-platform web tests) that use XPath expressions and CSS selectors to locate web elements. This property can be only used in tests that locate web objects by using internal identification properties provided by TestComplete.

Description

The ObjectIdentifier property returns an object identifier that is used to name objects.

Applies To

The property is applied to the following object:

All Flash and Flex objects.

View Mode

To view this property in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs, activate the Advanced view mode.

Property Value

A string value that contains the object’s identifier. If it is not specified, the property returns the index the object has among other objects of the same type on the same hierarchy level.

Remarks

This property is available only if the Tree model of web objects is active.
