ObjectGroupIndex Property (Flash and Flex Objects)

This property is not supported in web tests (including cross-platform web tests) that use XPath expressions and CSS selectors to locate web elements. This property can be only used in tests that locate web objects by using internal identification properties provided by TestComplete.

Description

Use the ObjectGroupIndex property to get the index of an object in a group of objects with the same object type that have the same identifier and label or do not have specified names, identifiers and labels at all. The ObjectGroupIndex property is used by TestComplete to address Flash and Flex objects that cannot be uniquely identified by their name, identifier and label.

Applies To

This property is applied to all the Flash and Flex objects.

View Mode

This property is available in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs in both Basic and Advanced view modes.

An integer value holding the object’s index.
