ClickEvent Action (Specific to AngularUI Calendar Controls)

Information in this topic applies only to web tests that implement the default approach. This method is not supported in cross-platform web tests.

Description

Use the ClickEvent action to simulate a single click over the specified calendar event.

Declaration

The method is applied to the following object:

View Mode

This method is available in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs in both Basic and Advanced view modes.

Parameters

The method has the following parameter:

Event

Specifies the calendar event to be clicked. You can enter the event’s index (an integer value from 0), or string that contains the event’s caption.

The caption can contain asterisk (*) or question mark (?) wildcards or regular expressions. The asterisk corresponds to a string of any length (including an empty string), the question mark corresponds to any single character (including none). To specify more complicated parts of a caption, use regular expressions.

The caption can be case-sensitive or case-insensitive depending on the value of the Use case-sensitive parameters project setting.

Result Value

None.

Remarks

  • If the specified calendar event is not found, ClickEvent fails and posts an error message to the test log.

  • To get the total number of calendar events in the visible date interval, use the wEventCount property.

  • To get the event’s caption, use the wEventTitle property.
