Network Suite Wizard - Specify Credentials for Logging in on the Slave Computers

Applies to TestComplete 15.70, last modified on December 17, 2024
The Network Suite functionality is deprecated. We don’t recommend using it for distributed testing. Consider using a CI/CD system for managing distributed tests. See Migrating Distributed Tests to CI/CD Systems for details. In case you need to run web tests on multiple environments in parallel, you can also try using your project’s Execution Plan.

The Network Suite wizard assists you in creating distributed tests.

On the Specify Credentials for Logging in on the Slave Computers page of the Network Suite wizard, you specify credentials that will be used to log in on the hosts selected on the previous step. You can specify the following credentials:

  • Domain - Optional. The domain to which the user account specified in the User name field belongs.

  • User name - Required. The user account used to log in on the remote hosts.

  • Password - Required. The password for the user account specified in the User name field.

For more information on credentials set for hosts, see Editing Host Properties.

Click Finish to exit the wizard and complete the creation of the distributed test. TestComplete will create a new job that contains a collection of tasks to be executed on the selected hosts.
