The Network Suite functionality is deprecated. We don’t recommend using it for distributed testing. Consider using a CI/CD system for managing distributed tests. See Migrating Distributed Tests to CI/CD Systems for details. In case you need to run web tests on multiple environments in parallel, you can also try using your project’s Execution Plan. |
TestComplete displays the “Verification failed” error message to inform you that the verification of a network suite, job or task failed.
This can happen if your master computer failed to connect to the proper version of TestComplete or TestExecute installed on the remote computer.
Note: | For information on other possible problems that can cause verification failure and on how to solve them, see Message - Verification failed. |
In order for verification to pass successfully and the test engine to execute a network suite, job or task, a number of possible problems with TestComplete (or TestExecute) must be solved on the slave hosts:
Problems With Product Versions
-
Make sure the version of TestComplete or TestExecute installed on the remote computer is the same as the one installed on the master computer.
-
Make sure that TestComplete (or TestExecute) uses the same ports both on the remote computer and on your master machine:
-
On your master computer, launch TestComplete and navigate to Options > Engines > Network Suite. Check the ports. (The default ports are 6095 - 6097.)
-
Log in to your remote computer. Launch TestComplete (or TestExecute) and navigate to Options > Engines > Network Suite. Make sure the ports the product uses are the same.
Note: In addition, make sure that your firewall allows traffic through those ports. See TestComplete and Windows Firewall. -
