wSelectionEnd property to obtain the index (zero-based) of the first character that follows the selected text in the edit control. The index of the last selected character will be equal to
wSelectionEnd-1. Characters in the text box are enumerated from left to right. To get the number of selected characters, subtract the
wSelectionStart property value from the
wSelectionEnd property value.
