Custom Fields

You can customize QAComplete by creating custom fields. Custom fields can be text boxes, choice lists, check boxes, date fields, or numeric fields.

You specify what fields appear in what order on the Add and Edit forms. The required fields and the fields that might need default values are specified on the Setup screen under System Configuration > Screen Layouts.

You can set up a custom workflow and specify how a workflow will move from one state to another, set rules for automatic assigning items to a specific person depending on the status the item is going to have, set rules for determining if each field on the screen is read-only, updatable, hidden, required or optional depending on the current status of the item.
