Excluding Servers From Scenario Simulation

Applies to LoadComplete 4.97, last modified on May 20, 2019

LoadComplete simulates recorded traffic that your application sent to a needed web server during the scenario recording.

Sometimes, you may want to ignore requests sent to a server. For example, you may want not to simulate requests sent to Google counters.

To manage servers to which LoadComplete simulates traffic during the test run, use the Host List table of the Scenario editor. The table lists all the hosts, traffic to which LoadComplete recorded.

To disable all the traffic to a server:

  • Find the server in the Recorded Host column.

  • Right-click the server and then click Disable Selected.

– or –

  • Clear the check box in the Enabled column.

LoadComplete will ignore these requests during the test run.

You can also filter out domains during the scenario recording. For example, you can specify hosts, traffic to which you want to exclude from recording. For more information, see Excluding Undesirable Traffic.
