On this page of the Correlate Request and Response Parameters wizard, you select how the wizard will search for dynamic parameters in your scenario:
-
Pre-defined correlation rules - Select this option to command the wizard to use pre-defined data correlation rules to find dynamic parameters in your scenario and to correlate them.
You can view and edit correlation rules in the Data Correlation Options dialog. See Creating Custom Data Correlation Rules Manually.
-
Empirical search algorithms - Select this option to command the wizard to search for dynamic parameters using default criteria that LoadComplete specifies. See Empirical Search Algorithms.
-
Remove selectors and replacers created automatically - This option is available only when you call the wizard manually for an existing scenario. When LoadComplete shows the wizard automatically upon stopping the scenario recording, this option is not present.
Select this option to command the wizard to delete all existing data selectors and data replacers created automatically (if any) from your scenario before correlating dynamic parameters. This will not affect data selectors and data replacers created or modified manually (by a user).
Select the needed options and click Next.
