On the last page of the Add New Failure Emulation wizard, you can specify additional parameters for the selected emulation type.
The following parameters are available:
-
Work Count - Specifies the number of times the selected failure is emulated. If you specify 0 (default value) as the value of this field, AQTime will emulate the specified failure all the time the specified conditions are met and the ordinal number of the failure is greater than the number specified in the Skip Count field.
-
Skip Count - Specifies the number of times the failure conditions are to be ignored. In other words, if you specify 2 as the value of this field, AQTime will ignore the conditions that prevent the specified failure two times and emulate the failure on the third time the specified conditions are met.
After you finish specifying the emulation parameters and close the wizard, the specified values will be shown in the Work Count and Skip Count columns of the Profiler Options dialog respectively.
Click Finish to close the wizard and add the specified emulation to the Profiler Options dialog. Click Cancel to close the wizard and cancel profiling.
