For our explanation, we assume that you create your Visual Studio test project on one computer and run it on another computer (on a build server).
Make sure that the computer where the team build is created and the build computer where the team build will run have the following software installed:

One of the following Visual Studio versions with Team Explorer:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 (Professional or Enterprise).

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 - 2013 (Professional, Premium or Ultimate).

Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 (Team Suite or Test Edition).

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (Team Suite or Team Edition for Testers).

AQTime 8 integrated into Visual Studio.
The computer, where the team build will run

Team Foundation Server with the Team Foundation Build Service component.
– or –
Team Foundation Build Service.

One of the Microsoft Visual Studio versions supported by AQTime.
For Visual Studio Team System 2010 and 2012 Only: It is not necessary to have Visual Studio installed on the computer where Team Foundation Build Service is running.

AQTime with the Visual Studio Integration package (if you have Visual Studio installed on the build computer) or the appropriate Build Service integration package.

If you use TestComplete projects to simulate user actions over the tested application, your build computer must have TestComplete installed. For more information, see Creating And Configuring Test Projects.
