To replace the trial version of TestExecute with a commercial version, you need to replace the trial license key with the “commercial” key that you get after purchasing TestExecute. There is no need to reinstall TestExecute.
You cannot replace the trial license of TestExecute with another trial license of this product. If you try to do this, an error will occur. You can replace the trial version of the product with the commercial version only (for more information, see below).
You cannot activate commercial licenses of TestExecute in a virtual environment. If your trail license is activated on a cloud computer or on a virtual machine, you will not be able to update it to the commercial version. Activate your commercial license on a physical computer.

The upgrade procedure is simple:
Log in to your SmartBear Account:
Open the TestExecute product page and find the license key on it.
Enter the license key on the License Manager PC as it is described in the Activation Steps topic.
