Teamwork - Overview

If the application you are developing and testing is large and complex, you may need to involve several QA engineers in the testing process. A group of QA engineers can create and run a great number of tests in a short amount of time.

Of course, you have to coordinate your teamwork. For example, all team members that are working on the same project must be able to work with the same TestComplete project suites at the same time and they must be able to make changes independently of each other.

The typical procedure of teamwork includes creating and running tests on several computers in your network. Usually, one or two QA engineers create a test and run it on many computers. By doing this, you can check how your application works in various environments.

There are several questions to answer before organizing teamwork in your company:

  • How can I share one project among several team members?

  • How can I share project items among several projects?

  • How can several team members work on the same project simultaneously?
