You use the Select Item Type dialog to specify the type of the item for an issue-tracking template. TestComplete will use this template to add a new or to modify an existing item of the specified type in the issue-tracking database specified by template properties.
To call the dialog, click the ellipsis button of the Item Type edit field of the Template Editor dialog. The button is enabled only if you specify a valid connection and a valid project in the Connection and Project edit fields of the Template Editor:
The Select Item Type dialog lists item types that are available to the user specified by the connection parameters.
To choose the item type for a template, select it in the list and click OK. Cancel will close the dialog without specifying the item type.
