wChildView Property (Specific to Ext JS Tree Panel Control)

This property is not supported in web tests (including cross-platform web tests) that use XPath expressions and CSS selectors to locate web elements. This property can be only used in tests that locate web objects by using internal identification properties provided by TestComplete.

Description

TreePanel controls can display data of multiple nested tables. Each expandable tree list row has child views, which are displayed when the row is expanded. Use the wChildView property to get access to child views of a certain tree list row.

To view this property in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs, activate the Advanced view mode.

Parameters

The property has the following parameter:

Row

The zero-based index of the row that contains the desired data row. The first visible row has index 0, the second - 1, and so on. Index of the last visible row is wRowCount - 1.

Property Value

A ExtJSTreePanelView object corresponding to the specified child view. If the given object does not have child views, wChildView returns an empty object (Nothing in VBScript, nil in DelphiScript, None in Python, null in JavaScript, JScript, C++Script and C#Script).
