wSelectBounds Property (Specific to Win32ListView Controls)

Applies to TestComplete 15.40, last modified on July 05, 2022

Description

The wSelectBounds property returns the item’s selection rectangle. A click on this area makes the item selected. In different view styles, the item’s selection rectangle is different:

  • In the Icon, Small Icon, List and Tile views, it includes the item icon, state image (if any) and label. This is the same area as the item’s bound rectangle, which you can get using the wItemBounds property.
  • In the Report view style without the FullRowSelect style, it includes the item icon, state image (if any) and label, and does not include subitems.
  • In the Report view style with the FullRowSelect style applied, it includes the entire item area, including the item’s icon, state image (if any), label and the subitems.
