IsOpen Property

Description

Specifies whether the application process is an Open Application. Open Applications are those where TestComplete can access native properties and methods of application windows, controls and objects. These applications are displayed in the Object Browser with the glyph.

View Mode

To view this property in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs, activate the Advanced view mode.

Property Value

True if the process is an Open Application; False otherwise.

Remarks

The IsOpen property returns True for Browser objects (web browser processes), processes of Open Applications as well as for processes that contain “open” elements (for example, a WebBrowser control). Exceptions are the following types of Open Applications for which IsOpen returns False:

Processes of Android Open Applications and iOS Open Applications do not support this property.
