Description
The list-view item can have the state image, which is displayed to the left of the full-sized or small icon. State images, such as checked and cleared check boxes, are used to indicate application-defined item states. State images are displayed in icon view, small icon view, list view, and report view. Use the wStateImage
property to obtain a state image of the specified list-view item.

Parameters
The property has the following parameters:
Item
Specifies the desired item. You can enter the item’s index (from 0) or its caption. The caption can contain asterisk (*) or question mark (?) wildcards or regular expressions. The asterisk (*) corresponds to a string of any length (including an empty string), the question mark corresponds to any single character (including none). To specify more complicated parts of a caption, use regular expressions.
The caption can be case-sensitive or case-insensitive depending on the value of the Use case-sensitive parameters project setting.
SubItem
Specifies the caption or zero-based index of the subitem for the Item
Property Value
A Picture
object that contains the item’s state image.
Remarks
If you use Python or DelphiScript, you should enclose the parameters of the wStateImage
property in square brackets: wStateImage[Item, SubItem]
.
