About Supported Janus Controls

TestComplete provides extended support for main menus created with Janus UI Controls for .NET. The main menu is associated with the Menu program object that extends the menu’s functionality with a number of supplementary methods and properties. These extended methods and properties let you perform various operations over the menu, for example, select or check menu items, and so on.

Requirements

• A license for the TestComplete Desktop module.

• The Janus Systems Control Support plugin. This plugin provides access to Janus main menus via the UICtrlsMainMenu property of the tested window. It also enables creating of table checkpoints for .NET Janus GridEX controls and their descendants.

  This plugin is installed and enabled automatically. If you experience issues when working with the controls, select File | Install Extensions from the TestComplete main menu to check whether the plugin is active. If the plugin is not available, run the TestComplete installation in the Repair mode.

Supported Component Versions

TestComplete supports Janus UIBars Control V3.0.0.25, V4.0.50.

Note that Janus UIBars Control V2.0.1188.0 is not supported.
