1. Create a New Load Test

To create a load test in ReadyAPI:

  1. Select File > New Load Test:

    – or –

    In the Dashboard New Test tile, select All Tests and click Load Test:

    Note: The New Test tile you see on your screen may differ from the one described above, because the tile content depends on the ReadyAPI license you have. For details, see the tile description.
  2. Select the URL.

    Tip: If you have some other projects in the current workspace, ReadyAPI will offer you to create a test from a test case of an existing project. For this tutorial, you need to create a load test from a URL.
  3. Select the POST method from the drop-down menu, enter the following URL, and click Next:

  4. Select the Default template and click Configure Load Test.

    You need a ReadyAPI Performance license to use other templates. You can request a trial, or buy ReadyAPI Performance to access them.
  5. Set Max response time to 300 and click Finish.

  6. ReadyAPI will create the test and offer you to Run Load Test or Add Local or Cloud Agent. You can also close the window to modify the load test before the test run. In this tutorial, we will close the window and modify the test before starting it.
