Activate and Use Licenses
The way you activate and use your license depends on the license type:
Online licenses
Online licenses are controlled by the SmartBear license servers available on the Web. This is the default licensing scheme.

Offline licenses
Offline licenses are the ones you use in private networks. They are controlled by products’ license subsystems or by the On-Premise License Servers running in your network.
