By default, TestExecute includes a default issue-tracking template named CreateWorkItem. This template is intended to be employed by users or by TestExecute itself for posting test results (test log) to an issue-tracking system. This template cannot be deleted.
Before using the default template for posting testing results into an issue-tracking system, configure the template:
- Right-click the TestExecute icon () in the notification area (tray) and select Template Manager from the resulting context menu.
- Select the CreateWorkItem template in the subsequent Template Manager dialog and click Edit.
- TestExecute will display the Template Editor dialog, where you can set up template parameters. For more information on editing template parameters, see Using Issue-Tracking Templates.
It is not recommended to change the mapping settings of the CreateWorkItem template fields and to change their order. This may cause TestExecute to be unable to post test results into your issue-tracking database. |
