ProcessName Property

Description

Returns the name (without extension) of the executable file that started the process. For example, notepad, winword, iexplore.

Note that this name is not the same as the one returned by the Name property - the latter specifies the process object name in the Object Browser.

This property is available in the Object Browser panel and in other panels and dialogs in both Basic and Advanced view modes.

A string holding the executable file name (without extension).
