In TestComplete, you can launch a tested application in tests or, in the case of mobile tests, install a tested application to the mobile device. To do this, the tested application must be added to the Tested Applications collection of your TestComplete project. The Add Tested Application wizard assists you in adding tested applications to the collection.
To call the wizard

Right-click somewhere within the TestedApps editor and choose Add Application from the context menu.

Right-click the TestedApps node in the Project Explorer and choose New Item from the context menu.
Choose the tested application type

Generic Windows application - Add a generic Windows application (Delphi, C++, .NET, WPF and so on) to the list of tested applications.

Mobile Web Application - Add a web page you open in a mobile browser emulator to the list of tested applications.

Java application - Add a Java application or a Java Web Start application to the list of tested applications.

Adobe AIR application - Add an out-of browser Adobe AIR application to the list of tested applications.

ClickOnce application - Add a ClickOnce application to the list of tested applications.

BitBar & local Appium application - Add an Android installation package (.apk) or an iOS application (.ipa) to the list of tested applications to upload it to the BitBar mobile device cloud or to a mobile device managed by a local Appium server.

Android application (Legacy) - Add an Android installation package (.apk) to the list of tested applications.

iOS application (Legacy) - Add an iOS application archive (.ipa) to the list of tested applications.

Windows Store application - Add a Windows Store application to the list of tested applications. (Available only on Windows 8.1 and later.)
On the subsequent pages of the wizard, you specify the launch parameters for the selected application.
