Removes the package passed as a method parameter from the device.

Package
Specifies the PackageObject
object that corresponds to the package to be removed from the device.
KeepDataAndCache
Specifies whether the application’s data and cache should be removed from your Android device when uninstalling the package. Possible values are:
Value | Description |
---|---|
False | Default. Package data and cache are deleted. |
True | Package data and cache are saved. |
Result Value
Returns True if the package has been uninstalled successfully from the device, and False otherwise.
Example
The code below obtains the PackageObject
object that corresponds to the specified package file (*.apk), installs this package on the device, launches the default activity for the package and then removes the package from the device:
