The Regions collection of the Stores project item contains images that are used during testing. Usually, these images are used for comparison purposes and for finding one image within another.
In some cases, you need to modify stored images before you use them in tests, for example, you may need to make some minor changes to an image or mark areas you want to exclude from image comparison (for more information on this, see Comparing and Finding Images - Specific Tasks).
Note: | If you need to automatically update the entire image, for example, to update a baseline image used by a Region checkpoint in order for the checkpoint to pass, use the image update feature. For more information, see Updating Stored Images. |
To manually modify images stored in the Regions collection, use the Regions editor:
-
Select the needed image in the Regions editor.
-
Click the Edit Image button in the Preview section of the Regions editor.
-
The image will be opened in the default editor used for the given image type.
-
After you modify the image, save the changes and close the editor.
-
The image displayed in the Regions editor will be instantly updated.
