Project Editor

The project editor is used to view and modify settings, logs and variables of TestComplete projects.

To display the editor, double-click your project in the Project Explorer panel.

The project editor contains the following pages:

  • Test Items - Displays a tree-like list of tests to be executed during the project run.

  • Variables - Using this page you can view, create and modify project variables.

  • Issue-Tracking Templates - Lets you view, create and modify issue-tracking templates (they are used to post test results to issue-tracking systems, like Team System or Bugzilla).

  • Logs - Displays the list of log files that were generated when the test engine executed tests that are provided by the project and its elements.

  • Properties - This page provides access to project properties.
