Applies to TestComplete 12.60, last modified on September 17, 2018

The TestComplete test log can store log images in various formats. For your current project, you can specify the image format settings by using the Project Properties | General dialog.

Supported Image Formats

By default, the test log can store images in the following formats:

  • BMP

  • JPEG

  • PNG

  • TIFF

  • GIF

  • ICO

You can install custom image adapter plugins to provide support for additional image formats. See Image Adapters.

Specifying Log Images Format for the Current Project

  1. Select Tools | Current Project Properties from the TestComplete main menu or right-click the desired project and select Edit | Properties from the project’s context menu.

  2. Select General from the tree in the left part of the resulting Project Properties - General Options dialog.

  3. The Images section of the dialog contains the image format settings. Click Configure.

  4. In the resulting Image Settings dialog, select and configure the needed image format.

To specify the default image format (the one that will be used by default in all new projects created in TestComplete), use the Default Project Properties - General Options dialog.
